A university in the USA conducted a study that shows that if a person consumes too much sugar they have a higher risk of having heart desease when they are older. Some research shows that in the 1700 an average ameican consumed 4 pounds of sugar a year and most of it came from natural resources like fruits, but now an average american consumes around 110 pounds of sugar a year wich is around 25 times more and most of this sugar is artificial like syrups and candy. Eating sugar can cause lots of different disease like the non alcoholic sugar disease wich is the same illlnes that can be caused by too much alcohol. And this is why sugar is really harmfull for your body.
