The story Seventh Grade by Gary Soto was a really difficult to like story. Even if I can relate to it because I am a seventh grader I think the story lacks action and the characters are not interesting
The story Seventh Grade lacked action. It lacked action because throughout the story you never see any action or anything that excites you. The most exciting part was when Victor pretended to speak french and he's teacher saved him so he could be with Teresa but for me I like books with was more action and this one just wasn't enough. I also think this story lacks action because they never say what happens with Victor and Teresa.
The characters i this story are not interesting. I think the characters are not interesting because they are normal kids who do normal stuff and nothing strange or something different happens so I think the characters are really plain. It is also really boring for me because I am a seventh grader so I go to school to and so what they talk about in the story is not new to me so it doesn't teach me anything so I don't think that this story is relevant
This is why I think that the story Seventh Grade by Gary Soto was really difficult to like and that even though I can relate I think the story lacks action and the character are not interesting.
